"Linked full text" to Music Perception articles in Ebsco databases not accurate. We do not have access to this title any more. Bugzilla #1495.

Status: resolved
Troubleshooting notes:
12/17/09 Ebsco identified the problem and fixed it: "We found Music Perception in a very old (from 2002) CrossRef collection, which we have since disabled." The erroneous "linked full text" is now gone. ej
12/16/09 emailed Ebsco outlining the problem. ej

Problem: Several Ebsco databases were running very slowly this morning and seem to have stopped. TopicSearch and ASP specifically.
Assigned to:
Priority:
Status: resolved
Troubleshooting notes:
9/30/9 - Databases appear to have returned to normal.
9/29/9 - Ebsco reports multiple server problems. They will contact us when the problems are resolved.
9/29/9 - RB restarted the III server. A retry showed the error that seems to indicate Ebsco is having problems:
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request GET /start.
Reason: Error reading from remote server
Also received the error from an Ebsco page:
A System Problem has Occurred To begin a new session, please login again.

Troubleshooting notes:
Email sent to EBSCO w/ a Snagit picture of what I see. Screen says we do not have a current subscription.

"Our mutual customer does not have online access for the 2004-2006 years on your site. Ebsco has submitted paid orders for 2007-2008 & then an order in 2007 for the backfiles. Please advise what must be done to enable access."

Operations Research
Problem: Ebsco, GRLinker and Gale all say we have fulltext access to current issues of Operations Research (http://132.194.32.30/record=b2055635) when we only seem to have through 2003 through Jstor.

Troubleshooting notes:
12/01/08 There is a 2 year full text embargo on all the Gale & Ebsco databases for this title, with the exception of Gale's Business & Co Resource Ctr which has a 1 year embargo. SerSol calculates the ending dates on titles with embargoes, and the only holdings that is incorrect is for General OneFile. It has a 2 year embargo also, and should have the same ending date (Oct 22, 2006) as the others. With the next coverage load, the ending dates on all of these holdings should change to something like Nov 22, 2006. I'll doublecheck after the December coverage load & if General OneFile is still wrong, I'll contact Serials Solutions. EJ
12/01/08 - A professor was looking for this, pointed them to ILL for access now and to TB for more access in the future.

Problem: User reports when searching ASP using the Safari browser that an 'all text' search shows the first page of results but has the error: Application Level Exception when you try to click to the next page. The same search using Firefox and using IE does not cause this error.
Assigned to: GB
Priority: low
Status: in progress
Summary of solution: Reported to Ebsco ASP 6/9/2008
Troubleshooting notes: The problem appears to be browser-based and simply using another browser allows access.
