Problem: This database, ICPSR , seems to be not working correctly when accessed through the proxy server. The downloaded datasets are a different size and cannot be opened. The problem was reported to us by the database provider.

Troubleshooting notes:
4/22/09 - The vendor indicates other users have had a problem with datasets being corrupted when going through the proxy so they require users to register from an IP-authenticated computer and but then allow access for that user for a limited time from other computers. We have changed the access directions to reflect this and making the access link unproxied. GB
4/21/09 - We have added an on-campus link to the ADI record. We may need to change this database to on-campus use only if we can't get the proxy server to cease interference. - GB
