Problem: We are getting periodic or occasional HTTP 403 (Forbidden) errors when we search for a Journal on Prospector, and use the Prospector 'Request Article' Button.
Assigned to: RB, GB
Priority: Medium
Status: in progress
Suggested workaround: As the brackets primarily appear in the record that shows what holdings are at Prospector libraries, it is possible to use the browser button to go "back" to the previous page that shows the journal and to then use the 'Request Article' button.
Troubleshooting notes:
7/23/8 Still happening. Renewed contact with Alliance.
7/11/8 More tests seem to show this is related to the inclusion of square brackets [] from the journal title in the open url url. Removal of the brackets lets the process proceed. Informed the Alliance and they are working on it.
7/10/8 Repeated tests find this happening on many more machines than the ref desk pcs and the public browser. RB consulted with the Alliance as this is a problem with GoldRush and Prospector.
7/9/8 Ref desks reports this in the evening.
