Problem: Reported 3/13/08 No searches remaining on FirstSearch authorization. Discovered that several FirstSearch "pay per search" databases are in the advanced federated search: 1) GeoBase, 2) Arts and Humanities Search, 3) Contemporary Women's Issues, 3) Disclosure Reports, and 4) ABI Inform. NH was able to remove GeoBase Arts and Humanities Search. However, NH was not able to locate Contemporary Women's Issues, Disclosure Reports, and ABI Inform to remove them from Serials Solutions. EJ to follow up with Serials Solutions to determine if "OCLC FirstSearch Custom 4" should be removed or not.

Resolution: Resolved. EJ spoke to a Serials Solutions rep, who advised that the OCLC FirstSearch Custom 4 database had no correlelation to 360 Search, and she said we could untrack it without causing any problem. As there are no journals attached to it, there is also no impact on the Marc record load or the e-journal portal. Therefore, EJ untracked this database in Serials Solutions 4/2/08. NH will contact Serials Solutions and have them remove the above databases from the 360 Search.
